Trump Baselessly Called Harris “Evil” And Said That Disqualified Her From Being President Of The U.S. According to USA Today, “Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump spoke in Minnesota Saturday, touting a new insult for his likely 2024 opponent Vice President Kamala Harris. […] ‘Kamala Harris' deadly destruction of America's borders is completely and totally disqualifying for her to be president. You can't have a person like this as president," Trump said. ‘No person who deliberately releases these kinds of savage criminals to prey on our youth and our people...not just youth, elderly people too....should ever be trusted with power. Again, she has no clue, she has no clue, she's evil.’” [USA Today, 7/29/24]
Trump Said He Did Not Know Harris “Was Black Until A Number Of Years Ago When She Happened To Turn Black.” According to CBS News, “Asked about some Republicans labeling Harris as a ‘DEI hire,’ Trump, after bickering with ABC's Rachel Scott over the definition of DEI, responded: ‘I've known [Harris] a long time indirectly, not directly, very much. And she was always of Indian heritage, and she was only promoting Indian heritage. I didn't know she was Black until a number of years ago when she happened to turn Black and now she wants to be known as Black. So I don't know, is she Indian, or is she Black?’” [CBS News, 7/31/24]
Trump On Harris: “Nobody Likes Her. She Could Never Be The First Woman President. She Could Never Be. That Would Be An Insult To Our Country.” According to ABC News, “Using some of his harshest language and maybe his most mocking tone yet, President Donald Trump attacked Democratic vice presidential nominee Kamala Harris on Tuesday night, saying Harris as the first female president would be an ‘insult to our country’ while repeatedly mispronouncing her name. ‘People don't like her,’ the president said at a rally in North Carolina, recounting her falling poll numbers on the Democratic primary trail. ‘Nobody likes her. She could never be the first woman president. She could never be. That would be an insult to our country.’” [ABC News, 9/9/20]
Trump Allegedly Called Vice President Harris A “Bitch” In Private. According to the New York Times, “Indeed, Mr. Trump has often been in a foul mood the past few weeks. He has ranted about Ms. Harris. He has called her ‘nasty,’ on ‘Fox & Friends,’ and a ‘bitch,’ repeatedly, in private, according to two people who heard the remark on different occasions. (‘That is not language President Trump has used to describe Kamala, and it’s not how the campaign would characterize her,’ Mr. Cheung said.)” [New York Times, 8/10/24]
Trump Said He Was “Entitled” To Personally Attack Vice President Harris Because He Was “Very Angry” At Her And Did Not “Have A Lot Of Respect For Her Intelligence.” According to the New York Times, “Toward the end of a meandering news conference, former President Donald J. Trump on Thursday insisted he was ‘entitled’ to continue his barrage of personal attacks against Vice President Kamala Harris, even as Republican allies are pushing him to shift his tone and emphasize policy issues. Saying he was ‘very angry’ at Ms. Harris, Mr. Trump told reporters outside the clubhouse of his golf course in Bedminster, N.J., that ‘I think I’m entitled to personal attacks,’ and that he had little respect for his Democratic opponent. ‘I don’t have a lot of respect for her intelligence, and I think she’ll be a terrible president,’ he said, adding, ‘She certainly attacks me personally.’ The former president said that he didn’t need to moderate his tone to win the Republican primary, insisting that he was now running a ‘very calm campaign’ — and even a calm news conference. ‘I didn’t rant and rave,’ he said of his own performance as he was in the middle of it on Thursday. ‘I’m a very calm person.’ Still, Mr. Trump repeatedly cast his opponents as ‘radical’ and ‘sick.’” [New York Times, 8/15/24]
Trump Called Vice President Harris “Comrade Kamala” Who Learned From Her “Marxist Professor” Father. According to ABC News, “While Trump mostly focused his speech on economic messaging, he doubled down on his attacks on Harris, escalating his effort to pain her as a ‘communist.’ Trump repeatedly called her ‘Comrade Kamala’ and accused her of pushing ‘communist’ policies – and at one point called her father, who is a renowned economist at Stanford, a ‘Marxist professor,’ saying ‘he taught her well.’ ‘Her father is a Marxist professor, and I believe he taught her well, you know, he's a Marxist professor. Can you imagine? Does anyone know that?’ Trump said. ‘I wonder if they knew that when they did an overthrow or a coup on Joe Biden, I wonder if they knew where she comes from, where she came from, what her ideology is. But you could see it a little bit by this whack job,’ Trump continued. ‘If Kamala gets in, the United States will rapidly become a deindustrialized third world nation,’ Trump told the crowd of fewer than 200 people, many of them employees of Precision Custom Components.” [ABC News, 8/19/24]
Trump Used His Social Media Website To Amply A Claim That Vice President Harris Exchanged Sexual Favors To Advance Her Political Career. According to the New York Times, “Former President Donald J. Trump used his social-media website on Wednesday to amplify a crude remark about Vice President Kamala Harris that suggested Ms. Harris traded sexual favors to help her political career. The post, by another user on Truth Social, was an image of Ms. Harris and Hillary Clinton, Mr. Trump’s opponent in 2016. The text read: ‘Funny how blowjobs impacted both their careers differently…’ The remark was a reference to Mrs. Clinton’s husband, former President Bill Clinton, and the Monica Lewinsky scandal, and a right-wing contention that Ms. Harris’s romantic relationship with Willie Brown, the former mayor of San Francisco whom she dated in the mid-1990s while he was speaker of the California State Assembly, fueled her political rise. Mr. Trump’s repost was the second time in 10 days that the former president shared content from his personal account making sexually oriented attacks on Ms. Harris. Though he has a history of making crass insults about his opponents, the reposts signal Mr. Trump’s willingness to continue to shatter longstanding norms of political speech.” [New York Times, 8/28/24]
Trump Criticized Representative Omar For “Telling Us How To Run Our Country.” According to Politico, “President Donald Trump on Tuesday attacked Rep. Ilhan Omar yet again for her Somali origins, saying the Minnesota Democrat is ‘telling us how to run our country.’ ‘How about Omar of Minnesota?’ Trump said at a rally in Moon Township, Pa., outside Pittsburgh. ‘We’re going to win the state of Minnesota because of her, they say. She’s telling us how to run our country. How did you do where you came from? How’s your country doing? She’s going to tell us — she’s telling us how to run our country.’ Omar is a U.S. citizen — a requirement for serving in Congress — and was naturalized after coming to the country as a child refugee from Somalia.” [Politico, 9/22/20]
Trump Falsely Accused Representative Omar Of “Talking About How Great Al Qaeda Is.” According to Factcheck.org, “President Donald Trump accused Rep. Ilhan Omar of professing a ‘love’ for al Qaeda and talking about ‘how great’ and ‘how wonderful’ al Qaeda is. That is false. […] Trump, July 15: ‘I mean, I look at the one — I look at Omar — I don’t know, I never met her. I hear the way she talks about al Qaeda. Al Qaeda has killed many Americans. She said, “You can hold your chest out, you can … when I think of al Qaeda, I can hold my chest out.’ … And politicians can’t be afraid to take them on. A politician that hears somebody, where we’re at war with al Qaeda, and sees somebody talking about how great al Qaeda is — pick out her statement — that was Omar. How great al Qaeda is — when you hear that — and we’re losing great soldiers to al Qaeda. … But when I hear the way they talk about our country, when I hear the anti-Semitic language they use, when I hear the hatred they have for Israel, and the love they have for enemies like al Qaeda — then you know what? I will tell you that I do not believe this is good for the Democrat Party.” [Fackcheck.org, 7/16/19]

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.), Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.), Rashida Tlaib (D-Mich.) and Ayanna Pressley (D-Mass.). ‘So interesting to see ‘Progressive’ Democrat Congresswomen, who originally came from countries whose governments are a complete and total catastrophe, the worst, most corrupt and inept anywhere in the world (if they even have a functioning government at all), now loudly and viciously telling the people of the United States, the greatest and most powerful Nation on earth, how our government is to be run,’ the president wrote.” [Politico, 7/14/19]
Pressley Was Born In The United States. According to Politico, “Ocasio-Cortez, Tlaib and Pressley were all born in the United States. Omar, a Somalian refugee, immigrated to the U.S. with her family in the early 1990s.” [Politico, 7/14/19]

Frederica Wilson, D-Florida.” [CNN, 10/22/17]

Trump Demanded An Apology From ESPN After Jemele Hill Called Him A White Supremacist. According to CBS News, “President Trump wants an apology from ESPN. He tweeted Friday morning that the sports network is ‘paying a really big price for its politics’ and he demanded, ‘Apologize for untruth!’ Though he didn't explain why he was attacking ESPN, he's likely referring to the network's anchor Jemele Hill, who, on Monday night, in a series of exchanges with other Twitter users, said, ‘Donald Trump is a white supremacist who has largely surrounded himself w/ other white supremacists.’” [CBS News, 9/15/17]
Trump Blamed ESPN’s Ratings Decline On Jemele Hill After She Called Trump A White Supremacist. According to the New York Times, “Mr. Trump on Tuesday also focused his fire again on Jemele Hill, the “SportsCenter” host on ESPN who previously called the president a white supremacist. Ms. Hill was suspended on Monday for suggesting that fans boycott advertisers of the Dallas Cowboys after the team owner, Jerry Jones, threatened to bench players who knelt during the national anthem. ‘With Jemele Hill at the mike, it is no wonder ESPN ratings have ‘tanked,’ in fact, tanked so badly it is the talk of the industry!’ Mr. Trump wrote on Twitter.” [New York Times, 10/10/17]
Trump Called White House Reporter April Hill “Nasty” And A “Loser” Who “Doesn’t Know What The Hell She’s Doing.” According to the New York Times, “On Friday, the president lashed out at Mr. Acosta again, calling him ‘a very unprofessional guy.’ He went on to insult other members of the White House press corps, including April D. Ryan, the correspondent for American Urban Radio Networks and one of a small number of African-American reporters who cover the administration. ‘You talk about somebody that’s a loser; she doesn’t know what the hell she’s doing,’ Mr. Trump said of Ms. Ryan, in an unprompted diatribe. ‘She gets publicity, and then she gets a pay raise or a contract with, I think, CNN. But she’s very nasty. And she shouldn’t be. She shouldn’t be. You’ve got to treat the White House and the office of the presidency with respect.’” [New York Times, 11/9/18]
Trump Repeatedly Told Ryan To Sit Down At A Press Conference After Accusing Her Of Interrupting Another Reporter. According to the New York Times, “Mr. Trump, who relishes jousting with reporters, has offered tough words for journalists of all races and genders. In the past few days, though, he has insulted or replied harshly to several African-American women, including Ms. Ryan, Ms. Phillip and Yamiche Alcindor, a White House correspondent for PBS. At the Wednesday news conference, Mr. Trump repeatedly told Ms. Ryan to ‘sit down,’ accusing her of interrupting a male reporter, as she tried to ask a question about voter suppression.” [New York Times, 11/9/18]
